What documents do I need to scrap my car?
You’ll need your V5C logbook (vehicle registration certificate). If you don’t have it, let us know — we can still help process your vehicle legally.
How long does it take to collect my car?
Once you accept your quote, a local buyer will contact you within 4 working hours to arrange collection at a convenient time for you — often within 24–48 hours.
Will I get a Certificate of Destruction (CoD)?
Yes. If your vehicle is scrapped, the Authorised Treatment Facility will issue a CoD to confirm it’s been legally and responsibly disposed of.
What if my car is damaged or not running?
No problem! We accept cars that are damaged, faulty, non-runners, or have failed their MOT.
Can I scrap a car on someone else’s behalf?
Yes, but you’ll need proof of ownership and written permission from the registered keeper.
Do you buy salvage vehicles too?
